Best service by Shilpa N jayanagar branch. Must try her service
Services are not as extra-ordinary as the price they quote, it is very basic stuff(both products and staff) which they use, which you can get in any parlour. Maybe only ambiance is focused on. They screwed up my face in the name of "cleanup" and they didn't even bother to refund my money upon approaching them.
Made me wait over 30 mins for the massage. The receptionist lied to me that the masseuse was coming from the top floor and it took him 30mins to come down. He was giving another customer a massage. The masseuse was tired, and hence gave me a bad massage, injuring my neck and shoulder. He then left in a hurry without putting on the hot water. No one else was there, and hence I had to have a shower in cold water, getting ill the next few days. Post the massage they refused to give me my invoice, even after requesting the area manager - Mrs. Jalaja for the same. They refused to take responsibility and even call up and follow up about my condition. The worst people in retail - registering a complaint against them.
I get my skin and hair treatments/services regularly from Bodycraft and the outcome at the Assaye road center is always a delight. Courteous and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend.
Body Craft has become bad to HORRIBLE in the last few months .... We have been going to Body Craft for the past many years .. at the beginning it used to be managed well with best professionals ... I was there last week for a pedicure , even after having a confirmed appointment , they made us wait for 1 hour ... there is a visible change ( for bad ) in the pedicure methods now , upon checking they said now they have changed the way they do the pedicures... for 900 Rs ... they just cut the nails, apply a bit of dettol ( Kept is a COLIN Spray bottle ) and 2-3 minutes of scrubbing... Thats it ....Holy Shit !!!!.. please avoid the place .... when we complained to the manager about the wait time , she behaved in a rude and unapologetic manner .... I hope the customers do stop going there, as they have started taking customers for a ride
I was very disappointed with the mani/pedi service at body craft !! All the hype about best treatments for your hands and feet “bomb main pedi” cost 1800rupees and you end up with cheap nail bar nailpolish!!! So I asked for OPI which they said would cost me an extra 400 rs !! Which I think was ridiculous!!!
I’m not impressed with their overall service although the look is very posh !
They use a normal broom to sweep hair off the floor , I would have expected them to have better equipment to brush hair off or use a vacuum bin which top end salons have !!
The staff only try and convince you to buy their packages , but i was a bit skeptical as this was my first time and I didn’t want to have my money spent on it if I was not satisfied with the service !! Which I am very glad I didn’t ! They don’t even have nail dryers & use a hair dryer !!!
Mirrors within have nice massage chairs with their mani pedi treatments and they give you a choice of top end nail polish!!
I liked the person who did my root touch up and the hair consultant! The girls who did the mani pedi were also good !
I don’t like being forced to buy products which they do !!!
I don’t like being forced to buy stupid packages, which I think is absurd ! Given the quality of the mani pedi package !
Don’t think I would go there again ! It’s a no from me !!
Friendly staff. Very happy with haircut. Good job by creative stylist Naveen:)
I usually go for renown hair salons for haircut and don't like taking chances with my hair. I don't know why but thought of trying bodycraft Lavelle road and felt like crying. The worst haircut I got till date and sheer wastage of money and time. I did not even feel any length got reduced and no style at all. On asking for a little different haircut she said that only trim is possible... that's senior hair stylist for us !!!! I am really pissed and disappointed.
Dying dying...almost dead!!
Body craft - one of the best salons in Bangalore, best hair stylists...so much so that if you have a hair cut from body craft and appear at work the next day, the whole office is complimenting you and asking how you had such a transformation. Hmmmm...that was the body craft from years ago, and actually not too long ago in the past - I had a good hair cut even a year back and people at office still talk about that lovely hair cut and color, that transformation to ME. And that is my last good memory of Bodycraft.
Personally feel so bad that a salon I had been visiting regularly since 2006 and was even a member of is dying a natural death. I need to once again find a good salon for myself. Many women will understand me here - we all stick to a good stylist if we find one, we never mind the distance or the time - no matter what, we will only go to that same person. Bodycraft was that place for me for more than 10 long years. It is the only place I even ever got my hair coloured :( And now I am moving away from them.
Reasons - my last hair cut was so pathetic, first time I got all the negative compliments after a cut. This when I paid extra to get cut only by a senior stylist (for hair cut they have different rates based on what level of stylist you opt for and I opted for the seniormost). So based on bad feedback from family and friends, I went back to bodycraft again asking them to correct the hair cut. But it was already cut too short and there was nothing much they could do. I had to suffer with bad hair for over three months till my hair grew a little.
Meanwhile I went there again, this time taking a friend along for eyebrows and upperlip. The rates at body craft are three times the local parlours but we came back with mis-shapen eyebrows and my friend had bad cuts on her upper lip that hurt for days and made her look bad for the family function (reason she opted for the service). She was surprised this is a place I am visiting for over 10 years. I tried explaining to her that may be this is a one off...
Then again I went to bodycraft for Global Keratin treatment this week. I first went for a consultation and the agreed rate for the service was 4500-5000 Rs. I booked an appointment and went back again. Now before starting the service I was told that the rate is now 5500 Rs. I rarely fight but since I was already a little pissed with my last few experiences I told them I was cancelling the service and leaving. At this, they discussed internally once again and told me to go ahead with the service for 5000 Rs. I felt cheated but agreed to go ahead as one last try.
This is the second time I am getting this treatment done in Bodycraft. I had gotten Global Keratin done a year ago but this time the experience was so different. First the product was applied on my scalp and I am still worried about that. I hope that doesnt cause any damage. One year ago the product was applied away from the scalp. When ironing the hair they burnt my scalp a couple times. What scares me most is that this time I sort of had a headache and sort of an iching sensation after the treatment. Last year I felt nothing of the sort. It is so scary because I have read about the health issues related to Global Keratin treatment. After the treatment, I was asked to come back for a complimentary wash two days after the treatment when they would do one more session of ironing. However when I went back, they told me ironing was not needed and its only the wash. I wouldnt have travelled all the way just for a wash!!!!!!!Its annoying. I reminded them that they had told me there needs to be another round of ironing and the last time they did the treatment, they did iron my hair. However they said they dont think its required anymore. Did they not know this during my treatment?? How come the sudden change in mind. You wonder if they know what they are doing and how to do it!!! They seem so confused.Even the time taken was half of what was
I have been visiting Body Craft from almost a decade, when they first started their outlet in Coles Road. The Services at that time was highly professional, reasonable and warmth. From the time they have started expanding their outlets their services are going down and down and down. It has become very commercial and now they are concentrating only on making money. They talk so much about their product and services in their Ad campaign but its all just a eye wash.
The hair color that they do fades of in just a weeks time and they charge you a bomb for it, to be precise for a medium length hair they charge 7500 and their hair stylist keeps bugging you the entire duration to buy this product, buy that product. The other services are equally pathetic they have staff who have no clue of what to do and go blank when they come and meet the customer, they do eyebrows but some hairs are still left which u can't see in their outlet because of the lighting and you notice that only when you come home or somebody points it out. Despite of having an appointment you are made to wait for min 30 mins and in between everyone will come and ask you what can we do for you ?? but no one does anything. If you go without an appointment God only save you from those inexperienced, unprofessional therapist who doesn't know a head or tale. I hope Mrs. Manjul Gupta concentrates more on service standards, rather than increasing the number of outlets other wise one day she will have to start closing down one by one outlets, the way she had started them.
Please visit other parlors which are much more economical and give u the best available services. Dont go by the name or the show shaw of the place. You will be cheated.
